This complex is a museum of Khanty people’s life and the best place to start your acquaintance with the culture of the indigenous population of Yamal. You can visit the improvised village, try on national clothes “malitsa”, warm up in a real “chum” and experience a mysterious ritual of smoke purification.

The monument to romantics of the 1970s

This monument is dedicated to the youth of the 70s of the XX century, who came to conquer the Krainiy North. This stele, symbolizing the romantic era of the development of the North, was established in 2001 in the capital of Yamal.

The Polar Aviation Museum

Terentiev’s House

Terentiev’s House is one of the rare surviving monuments of wooden architecture in the North of Russia. The original appearance of the building was restored according to the drawings. The complex includes a residential house, a barn and a gate. It is a model of a typical urban estate of the late XIX century.

Shemanovkiy’s Museum
